At Primo Dental, our goal is simple: to keep your teeth and gums healthy with a full range of general dentistry services. With clinics in Prestatyn, Chester and Wirral, we bring an Independent family-run approach to dental care.
We put the patient first, treating everyone with care and respect. Primo Dental is owned and led by Dr. Graham Corser (GDC number 257793). We don’t offer NHS services, but we provide flexible payment options through Denplan, which makes it easier to manage your dental health.

At Primo Dental there are plenty of reasons you might need a dentist. Do you feel sensitivity in a tooth when you drink or eat? Are you experiencing bleeding gums when you brush? This could indicate a cavity that needs a filling or possibly a root canal. Maybe your gums have been sensitive for a while? We can take care of those issues right away.
Perhaps you’re dealing with sudden toothache, a broken tooth and a tooth needs to be extracted. Whatever the case may be, we’re ready to provide the relief you need and fast. Primo Dental welcomes families and patients from the local areas, and those coming from the surrounding areas. From routine check-ups to an issue more complex, get in touch. Our team is here to help.
1. Dental Check-ups & Routine Examinations
During your check-up, your teeth, gums and your oral health are closely examined to catch issues early to prevent them becoming serious.
2. Tooth Extractions (& Emergencies)
If you are in pain get in touch. If tooth extraction is necessary our dentists will help.
3. Dental X-rays
We take x-rays so we can get a closer look at areas that aren’t visible during an examination. An x-ray helps us to identify any hidden problems such as cavities, bone loss, infections and wisdom teeth position.
4. Gum Disease Treatment (Periodontal Care)
Obvious signs of gum disease include a receding gumline, as well as red, swollen, bleeding gums. At Primo Dental we can assess and treat you with professional periodontal care. Treatment should begin as soon as possible to prevent further damage and to improve overall teeth and gum health.
5. Scaling & Root Planing (deep cleaning for gum disease)
Tooth scaling and root planing (root planing below the gumline) is done to remove hardened tartar and treat inflamed gums. This treatment helps to prevent tooth loss, damage to gums and bone.
6. Root Canal Treatment
When infection reaches the tooth’s pulp it’s time to seek treatment. A root canal is performed to treat infection and to clean out damaged tissue and the affected area can then be sealed.
7. Fillings (for cavities)
Cavities are repaired and filled using either silver or tooth-colored fillings. It is essential to restore the function of teeth to make sure you can go about your day with peace of mind.
8. Dental Crowns
A dental crown is designed in the shape of a tooth. It restores a tooth when it is worn down, weak or decayed. We use crowns also for covering dental implants. A crown will last between 5 and 15 years depending on what the crown is made from. Contact us if you need help.
9. Dental Hygienist (teeth cleaning)
Our dental hygienists will give your teeth a thorough clean and remove any tartar and plaque. Oral health is examined, x-rays are taken, and fluoride and sealants is applied to prevent dental issues.
10. Airfow Cleaning
This teeth cleaning uses a mix of air, water and powder to remove stains and plaque. An alternative and less invasive than traditional scaling, the hygienist will point a stream of air and powder at the tooth’s surface to clean your teeth effectively.
11. Pediatric Dental Care (Children's Check-ups & Preventive Care)
Pediatric dentistry provides oral health care for children. For example: dental check-ups, restorative care (includes prosthetics and endodontic treatment), minor oral surgery and orthodontics.
Children’s check-ups at Primo Dental are designed to be comfortable and stress-free. Advice and care are given to children from a young age in order to develop good dental practices and habits.
12. Scale & Polish
A scale and polish is done by our dentist or our dental hygienist. Plaque and tartar is scraped (an ultrasound scraper may be used initially to remove the majority of the tartar).
Polishing makes the surface smooth after scraping. Stains, patches of rough texture, and any minor imperfections are removed to protect the teeth from plaque.
13. Emergency Dentist (Pain relief, restorations & extractions)
For dental emergencies, treatment is provided to relieve pain and to address urgent dental issues. Please contact us with your emergency so we can determine the best way forward.

At Primo Dental, you’ll find a full range of preventive and restorative General Dentist treatments to keep your smile healthy.
It is recommended to have a check-up at least twice a year or every 6 months and not everyone does. A dentist can recommend more frequent appointments depending on your oral health at the time.

The Primo team have been excellent from start to finish. I have a complex dental history and went for All-on-6, and yesterday I had my surgery. Delighted with my molar implant, which feels just like a normal tooth and is as solid as a rock one year down the line. Although it was an intimidating prospect, Mr McGee was great at explaining the various stages (the whole thing took about a year) and obviously a real craftsman when it came to the work itself, which was all painless and unproblematic, despite a difficult initial extraction. Would highly recommend this impressive procedure and excellent practice to anyone. Don't be nervous, just go along for a chat - it is truly transformative.
