What are Clear Aligners?
Clear aligners offer a trusted and discreet way to straighten your teeth. Custom-made trays are almost invisible, making them a popular choice for adults and teens – perhaps you’ve already heard of Invisalign? They’re removable, so you can eat, brush, and floss easily.
What are Fixed Braces?
Fixed braces use brackets and wires to gradually move your teeth into the right position. They’re effective for all types of alignment issues, from minor adjustments to more complex cases.
Fixed braces are a trusted and effective. Small brackets are attached to each tooth and they’re all connected by a thin metal wire. Over time, the wire applies gentle, consistent pressure to move move teeth into preferred positions.
Compared to removable aligners, fixed braces remain in place all day 24/7.
Treatment usually lasts for 1 to 2 years with regular adjustments leading to better aligned teeth.

Delighted with my molar implant, which feels just like a normal tooth and is as solid as a rock one year down the line. Although it was an intimidating prospect, Mr McGee was great at explaining the various stages (the whole thing took about a year) and obviously a real craftsman when it came to the work itself, which was all painless and unproblematic, despite a difficult initial extraction. Would highly recommend this impressive procedure and excellent practice to anyone. Don't be nervous, just go along for a chat - it is truly transformative.
