Think of veneers as thin, colour matched, specially made mouldings that mirror the shape and size of your teeth. They are custom-made shells we make in our own dental lab.
In the lab, a wax model of the veneers is created based on the impressions taken by the dentist. The wax model is used make veneers from materials like porcelain and composite resin. Porcelain veneers are created by heating and molding the material into thin layers to resemble natural enamel.
Next he veneers are hardened and polished to match the natural shine & appearance of real teeth. Finally, the veneers are carefully inspected for quality and fit before being sent back to the dentist.

TYPES OF VENEERS
Composite Veneers
A composite veneer (composite bonding) is a more cost effective type of veneer. Composite veneers are applied in layers using a composite resin (the same colour as your teeth) and it is shaped and bonded to the surface.
With composites, You can reduce discolouration, chips and close gaps.
This method is more easily repaired than other types of veneers and these are more easily stained or chipped than other types of veneers. Longevity is from 4-10 years.

Do you have to file your teeth for veneers?

How do I maintain my veneers?

Veneers can help with teeth mildly crooked. Please bear in mind, that more severe teeth misalignment may require orthodontic treatment before veneers can be considered. Your dentist will evaluate your case and make the most suitable recommendations.
